1. Students need to be in school regularly, on time, and ready to learn!
2. North Dakota State guidelines are as follows:
"Students shall miss no more than 20 days per year."
3. Parents are expected to call the school office every day that their child will not be in attendance and follow up the absence with a written note.
4. Medically excused absences do not count against a student's twenty days. A written note will be required from your provider (i.e. doctor, dentist, optometrist, therapist).
Regular attendance in school is part of the Grand Forks Public School Stay in School Program. More information about the Stay in School Program can be found at http://www.gfschools.org/stayinschool.
