2010 is off to a great start at Phoenix Elementary School. Students have done a great job and are learning a lot each day. We continue to work on creating a positive learning environment for our students through our Positive Behavior Support (PBS) program. We believe students will learn how to be a positive, productive student if we teach it by using the following teaching tips:Tell/model/explain expectations in specific settings, Use guided practice, Monitor, assess and give feedback, Prompt and pre correct, teach to fluency, and praise. We believe our PBS process is working and has made a difference for our students.
