• Courses


    Academic

    Classes run three hours in length with a maximum of 15 students per class. Students must be present in class for 60 hours (75 for science and lab classes) and successfully complete course requirements to earn a ½ credit. Students will be suspended for a minimum of 20 days if they exceed 10 hours of absence per 60-hour class (12 ½ per 75 hour class). Time requirements are placed directly upon the students, in order to promote independence, responsibility for course work, and behavior.

    Elective Courses

    Community High School offers a variety of electives courses in Family and Consumer Science, Electronic Presentations, Work Co-op, and Business Education. We have over 30 different elective courses to choose from. Students need eight credits of electives to fulfill the graduation requirements for Community High School.
