Very Important Teacher

Each candidate for induction is asked to choose an educator who has positively influencd or impacted his or her life and write a statement detailing that influence. This educator should be a mentor and an example of the pillars of character as well as the NTHS attributes of character. This educator is recognized at the induction ceremony and the student's statement is read.
In choosing a Very Important Teacher, select a teacher that meets one of the following criteria:
- Grand Forks Public Schools teacher, counselor, or administrator
- Grand Forks Public Schools retired teacher, counselor, or administrator
- Teacher, counselor, or administrator from one of the Grand Forks Public Schools "feeder" schools (i.e. Emerado, Holy Family, Grand Forks Christian School, Manvel, Sacred Heart, St. Mary's, St. Michael's)
