Molly Aldrich

  • Miss Aldrich's classes were praised by George B. Winship in the Herald, November 9, 1881: "Having a desire to learn how our public schools are progressing, I visited the room over which Miss Aldrich presides. It was Friday afternoon, and the high school classes were engaging in their rhetorical exercises... Everyone responded promptly when their name was called. All did well. Some of the boys and girls displayed superior ability in elocution. They seem to take unusual interest in this most valuable part of school work."
