Beulah Bomstead
-
Beulah Bomstead is remembered as one of the really great teachers. She taught English and was for many years advisor for both the FORX and the Centralian. She was also the author of a charming one-act play: "The Diabolical Circle." The 1952 FORX described her this way: "Knitter, stargazer, traveler, loves a joke, can take one, patient, cream of the crop." She thought teaching the greatest privilege in the world. "One stays young looking at life through the eyes of the youth," she said. The 1954 FORX was dedicated to her. For several years a Beulah Bomstead award was given to an outstanding senior.
