• Tim Skarperud

  • Tim Skarperud (1993-1996) participated in hockey and golf at Red River High School, earning five varsity letters. In golf, Tim was named to the All-EDC team two years, All-State team three years, and was a member of Red River’s three consecutive state championship teams (1994-1996).  Tim is a six-time Grand Forks All-City Golf Champion and six-time North Dakota Golf Association State Champion. In hockey, Tim was named All-EDC, All-State, and State Tournament MVP in 1996, the same year in which Red River won the state championship. Post-high school, Tim was a member of the 2000 National Championship Hockey Team at UND, and was named to the WCHA All-Academic Team and received the Fido Purpur Award winner in 2002. Following his career at UND, he played professional hockey in the American Hockey League.
