Matt Malm
  • Matt Malm (1999-2009) was dedicated to the development of youth not only as hockey players but also as individuals. Matt served as the head coach for the Red River Roughriders from 1999-2009. He and his coaching staff, leading their teams to state in each of his eleven seasons, reached the state championship game nine times and won five North Dakota State Hockey Championships (2000, 2001, 2005, 2007 and 2009). Prior to his time at Red River, Matt coached the Bantam A North Team from 1989-1998, and these teams won six North Dakota State Championships in addition to being the Tier II National Champions in 1993.
