Briona Reynolds
  • Briona Reynolds (1996-2001) was a six-time letter winner in the sport of track and field.  She was a four-time State Champion in the Shot Put, two-time State Champion in the Discus, two-time State Runner-Up in the Discus, and two-time placewinner in the Javelin. She was the Gatorade Female Track and Field Athlete of the Year her entire high school career, winning the prestigious award four straight seasons. As a junior in high school, she qualified for the Olympic Trials in the discus. Her throw of 179’1” feet in 1999 is still a North Dakota High School Record. She helped the Riders to EDC Championships in 1998, 1999, and  2000, State Championships in 1998 and 2000, and Runners Up in 1999. She was a USA Junior Nationals All American, the 2000 National Scholastic Discuc Title holder, and twice competed on the Junior Olympics World Team (2001, 2002).  Briona attended UCLA, where she earned All Conference honors multiple times and was an All American in 2002.
