Liza Wischer
  • Liza Wischer (2002-2007) earned six varsity letters in tennis.  She was a six-time EDC and State Singles Champion.  Her six State Individual Championships is the most Singles Titles in state history, and she is the youngest player in state history to win the Singles Title, earning her first title in 7th grade. She accumulated a record of 129-0 while playing for the Riders. She led the Roughriders to six EDC Team Titles and six State Team Championships. She was the GF Herald Athlete of the Year in 2007, the NDState Senior Athlete of the Year in 2007, and a two-time finalist for the GF Herald Sports Person of the Year.  She also earned the NDAPSSA Special Achievement Award in 2007. Liza attended Iowa State where she was named Team MVP in 2010, earned the Hardest Worker Award in 2008, 2009, and 2011, and the Iowa State Scholar Athlete Award in 2010 and 2011.
