Four community meetings were held for the May 16, 2023 referendum. Childcare was also available.

• Meeting #1: Wednesday, March 22, 2023 - Valley Middle School Gymnasium - 6 p.m.  
• Meeting #2: Thursday, April 13, 2023 - Red River High School Theatre - 6 p.m.
• Meeting #3: Wednesday, April 26, 2023 - Valley Middle School Gymnasium - 7 p.m.; was also livestreamed.
• Meeting #4: Thursday, May 11, 2023 - Grand Forks Central High School - 6 p.m.
