A Message from the Principal
Welcome to Community High School! Community offers Another Road to Success for students pursuing their high school diploma. Our alternative high school opened in 1985 as a non-traditional education option for students in Grand Forks Public Schools. With over 1,050 graduates, our school provides a unique structure, smaller setting, and distinctive instruction for students. Our facility was recently remodeled. We have an excellent setting to promote student success. Community is one of three high schools in Grand Forks, ND.
Any high school student aged 16 or older may enroll at Community. A team of professionals works each day to meet the unique needs of our students. All of the required courses for high school graduation are offered as well as a small variety of electives. Students at Community High School receive customized support to aid in the completion of their coursework. Online courses are offered as well. We follow the curriculum guides of Grand Forks Public Schools and are fully accredited by AdvanceEd.
Our school houses two other academic programs for adult students. Our Adult Learning Center offers GED preparation classes and English language instruction. The Adult Transitions Program provides post-high school instruction for adult students.
Our school is built around our students. If you are interested in enrolling at our school or simply wish to visit, please stop by the school or call at anytime!
