Pre-Registration: If your student is five years old before August 1st, 2025, start by pre-registering now. Visit the following link for 2025 Kindergarten Pre-Registration.

Stay Updated: After pre-registering, please wait for an email or keep an eye on our social media channels for more details about our in-person Kindergarten registration event, scheduled for Thursday, April 10th.

Attend the Registration Event: Join us at the designated time and location to complete the registration process in person. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Grand Forks Public Schools is excited to offer Intro to Kindergarten programs during July and August 2025. This three-week program is designed to support incoming kindergarten students in building foundational skills for a successful start to the school year. 2025 Kindergarten Pre-Registration Form
Verification of Residence Form
This is used to determine whether the residence is within the boundaries of Grand Forks Public Schools. Need primary and secondary proof.
This form collects all student information.
Copy of Certificate of Immunization Records
State law requires documentation of immunization records before entry into public schools.
Request for Release of Educational Records
Required if transferring from another school district. This form is used to obtain student records from the previous school district.
Non-Custodial Request for Student Information
Required for non-custodial parents. This form documents requests from non-custodial parents that are requesting student information.
Title VI Eligibility Certification (506 Form)
For Native American students with proof of tribal membership or an enrollment number. This qualifies them for services through the Native American Program.
Free & Reduced-Price Meals Information
Optional. This form is to apply for and determine eligibility for the national school lunch program.
