If you are registering a new student at GFPS, here is a step-by-step guide to the process:
1. Pre-Registration Form: Please start by filling out the pre-registration form here so we can better understand your needs. Once submitted, someone from Grand Forks Public Schools will reach out to you with the next steps.
2. Organize Documents: Gather all necessary documents for registration. You can find a list of acceptable documents here. Please ensure you have all documents ready before proceeding to the next step.
3. Submit Your Documents: You can return your completed documents either in person (to the school office) or via email; however, email submission is preferred. Use this document to find the updated email addresses for the lead administrative assistant at the corresponding school.
4. Await Confirmation from GFPS: After your documents have been submitted, watch for an email from Grand Forks Public Schools. This email will contain your PowerSchool code and detailed instructions on how to set up your PowerSchool account.
5. Complete the Registration Process: Once your PowerSchool account is set up, log in to complete the remainder of the registration process. It is crucial that you fill in all required information accurately and thoroughly. Please do not skip this step, as it ensures we have all the necessary details for your child’s enrollment.
