Grand Forks Public Schools Receives Grant from Enbridge

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Grand Forks Public Schools has received a community investment grant from Enbridge, a local energy transportation company.

The $7,302 grant will be used to support the VEX IQ Robotics program at Grand Forks Public Schools.

“Thank you to the Enbridge Community Investment Team for this generous support. The grant will be instrumental in helping to enhance the integration of VEX IQ Robotics within our school system, positively impact our student’s learning experiences,” said Eric Ripley, Executive Director of Career and Technical Education and Technology.

VEX Robotics is an innovative robotics design platform that transforms STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) learning for students and their teachers. Students create and program robots to operate both by remote control and autonomously. The VEX IQ Robotics program is designed for students in grades 4-8.

Enbridge, Inc. is a North American energy infrastructure company with business platforms that include a network of crude oil, liquids and natural gas pipelines, regulated natural gas distribution utilities, and renewable power generation.
