Grand Forks Public Schools Receives NAMM Designation

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation has designated Grand Forks Public Schools as one of the Best Communities for Music Education for 2021.

Now in its 22nd year, the Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students. To qualify for the Best Communities designation, each school district answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, and support for the music programs.

Grand Forks Public Schools joins Bismarck, Fargo, and Mandan as the only four districts in North Dakota to receive the designation in 2021.

The NAMM Foundation selected 686 school districts across the United States to receive the honors.

This is the 19th year Grand Forks Public Schools has received the designation from the foundation.
