Compton Receives Technology Award
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Jeff Compton, network services coordinator at Grand Forks Public Schools, has been named the North Dakota Association of Technology Leaders (NDATL) Technology Leader - Large School.
The award was presented to Compton at the annual NDATL fall conference on October 18 in Mandan.
“Jeff is an invaluable member of the Grand Forks Public Schools team. His knowledge of all things technology, from infrastructure to platforms, is unmatched by anyone I’ve ever worked with,” said Chief Academic Officer Amy Bartsch. “He embodies the definition of a team player. He is always willing to support teachers, staff, and students to ensure all stakeholders feel supported and successful. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this honor.”
“The institutional knowledge, customer service, and professionalism demonstrated by Jeff in all that he does for the school system set the standard for the entire Technology Department,” said Eric Ripley, executive director of career and technical education and technology. “This well-deserved award showcases the leadership skills Jeff provides not only within Grand Forks Public Schools but also as a respected and recognized technology leader across the state.”
The NDATL includes technology educators across North Dakota who are committed to the improvement of education through the use of technology.
