The Elementary Summer School Program will be held June 5, 2023 to June 23, 2023 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Elementary summer school is open to all students.
- Students in Kindergarten-4th grades are eligible.
- Current 5th grade students are eligible for Middle School Summer School Programming.
- Programming will consist of Literacy and Math.
- Teachers in the summer school program will be using the same instructional practices and curricular resources for Literacy and Math as are used during the school year.
- Students will be reviewing and enriching content from the grade level they have just completed.
The proposed elementary summer school locations are listed below. Please note: these are tentative.
- Ben Franklin Elementary* and Century Elementary: held at Century Elementary
- Discovery Elementary
- Kelly Elementary and Viking Elementary*: held at Kelly Elementary
- Lake Agassiz Elementary
- Lewis and Clark Elementary and Phoenix Elementary: held at Phoenix Elementary
- Wilder Elementary and Winship Elementary: held at Winship Elementary
*Ben Franklin Elementary and Viking Elementary schools are both closed for the summer of 2023 due to construction projects.
ENCORE Elementary Programming
- ENCORE Enrichment from 12:30-4 p.m.
- Extended care from 4-5:30 p.m.
- ENCORE enrichment will include swimming lessons, cooking classes, featured sports, STEM, gardening, art, and music
- ENCORE Elementary Bonus Week: June 26-30, 2023
- Enrichment from 7:45 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Extended care from 4-5:30 p.m.
- Lunch will also be provided from 12-12:30 p.m.
